We are looking for an experienced Production Planning Engineer to manage production scheduling, resource planning, and process discipline across our rubber and polyurethane (PU) manufacturing operations. This role requires someone who can bring structure to shop-floor execution, lead a team effectively, and drive continuous improvement in a growing manufacturing environment.

Skills Required

- 3–5 years of experience in production planning/production engineering role in a reputed manufacturing factory (rubber, polyurethane, elastomer, or allied industrial products background preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
- Strong working knowledge of manufacturing systems, SOPs, and shop-floor documentation practices.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems for production planning, order tracking, and machine/resource scheduling.
- Working awareness of ISO 9001 (Quality) systems; exposure to ISO +91-XXXXXXXXXX is an advantage.
- Proven ability to lead, train, and build a disciplined production team.
- Strong problem-solving skills — able to troubleshoot process bottlenecks, material issues, and machine downtime independently.
- Good communication skills to coordinate across production, quality, procurement, and dispatch teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and manage daily/weekly/monthly production plans across rubber and PU product lines, aligned with order priorities and machine capacity.
- Coordinate machine allocation and scheduling using the ERP/production planning system; maintain accurate machine master and order tracking records.




- Monitor production progress against plan; identify and resolve bottlenecks in real time (material shortages, machine breakdowns, manpower gaps).
- Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components for planned production runs.
- Ensure SOPs and OPLs are followed on the shop floor; flag and correct deviations.
- Support and maintain ISO 9001 documentation for production processes; contribute to ongoing ISO +91-XXXXXXXXXX implementation.
- Lead, mentor, and build capability within the production team — including training on new processes, machines, and quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time, rejection rates, and downtime.
- Coordinate with quality and dispatch teams to ensure on-time order fulfilment.
- Prepare production MIS reports and provide regular updates to management.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in rubber molding, PU casting, or polyurethane processing (bushes, liners, or similar industrial rubber/PU components) is highly desirable.
- Experience working with ERP-integrated production planning tools.
- Exposure to lean manufacturing or 5S practices.

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Required)
