Proposal Manager – Water & Wastewater Treatment

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Proposal Manager to manage the preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals for WTP, STP, ETP, RO and wastewater treatment projects. The candidate should have strong technical understanding, proposal coordination skills, and the ability to work closely with Sales, Design, Projects, Purchase and Management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
- Study customer enquiries, tender documents, BOQ, specifications and scope of work.
- Prepare technical offers, scope of supply, process descriptions and compliance statements.
- Coordinate with Design, Projects, Purchase and Sales teams to obtain required inputs.
- Prepare project cost estimates, BOQ, equipment pricing and commercial proposals.
- Review vendor quotations and ensure competitive pricing.
- Prepare tender submissions and ensure timely submission of proposals.
- Handle technical clarifications and customer queries related to proposals.




- Maintain proposal database, costing records and previous proposal references.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and discussions with clients when required.
- Support the Business Development team in identifying suitable technical and commercial solutions.
- Ensure proposals are accurate, commercially viable and submitted within deadlines.
- Track submitted proposals and coordinate with the Sales team for follow-ups.

Required Skills:

- Good knowledge of WTP, STP, ETP, RO and wastewater treatment systems.
- Strong proposal preparation and costing skills.
- Good understanding of equipment, processes and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation and coordination skills.
- Ability to read and understand tender documents and technical specifications.
- Valuable commercial awareness and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple proposals and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Experience:
Experience in EPC / Water Treatment / Environmental Engineering / Wastewater Treatment industries will be highly preferred.

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
