About the Role

You will run the routine chemical and physical testing that keeps copper-tube quality on spec — sample preparation, analysis, recording and reporting. It's a hands-on lab role for someone accurate and disciplined, and a strong entry point into a copper-tube quality/metallurgy environment with room to grow toward Lab Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare samples and conduct routine chemical and physical tests on raw material, in-process and finished tube.
- Operate lab instruments (e.g. spectrometer, hardness tester, and other analytical equipment) as trained.
- Record test data accurately; maintain lab registers and traceability.
- Flag out-of-spec / non-conforming results promptly to the Lab Engineer/Manager.
- Support calibration, reagent preparation and lab housekeeping (5S).
- Maintain lab safety and correct handling of chemicals and samples.




- Assist in preparing test reports and material certificates.

Educational Qualification

B.Sc / Diploma in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering (or related science).

Experience

2–4 years in a chemical / materials / metallurgical testing lab.
