Role focus: End-to-end full-stack development across Frappe/ERPNext, Next.js and FastAPI

This is a balanced full-stack role. The ideal candidate must have practical, production-level experience across Frappe/ERPNext, Next.js/React and FastAPI and be able to independently deliver features end to end—from business workflow and data model to user interface, APIs and integrations.

What you will do

Customise, develop and maintain Frappe and ERPNext applications Build DocTypes, workflows, forms, role permissions, reports, print formats and dashboards Develop and maintain custom Frappe apps, APIs and background jobs Build responsive student, parent and internal portals using Next.js / React Create maintainable front-end components, dashboards, forms, authentication flows and API integrations Build FastAPI services for AI features, webhooks, WhatsApp, payment gateways and third-party integrations Design secure APIs, validation, background processing, error handling and service documentation Integrate Frappe/ERPNext, Next.js, FastAPI and external systems into one reliable workflow Improve CRM, lead management, admissions, fee tracking, LMS and operational workflows Debug production issues, manage upgrades and maintain clean documentation Work closely with operations, academic, marketing and leadership teams

Required skills

2–4 years of hands-on full-stack development experience Proven practical experience in Frappe Framework and ERPNext Proven practical experience building applications with Next.js / React Proven practical experience building APIs and services with FastAPI Solid Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, REST APIs, MariaDB/MySQL and Git ERPNext customisation: DocTypes, client/server scripts, workflows, reports, print formats, custom fields and permissions Next.js: routing, reusable components, state/data handling, authentication, API consumption and responsive UI FastAPI: API design, Pydantic validation, authentication, database integration,



async/background tasks and API documentation Ability to build, deploy and maintain custom Frappe apps, Next.js applications and FastAPI services Experience with API integration, webhooks and JSON-based third-party services Comfortable with Linux, Bench, Nginx, deployment, debugging, backups and basic security practices Ability to independently analyse requirements and convert them into reliable technical solutions

Preferred skills

LMS, CRM, admissions, education, HR or workflow-system experience Docker, Redis, Celery/RQ, background jobs and VPS/cloud deployment WhatsApp Business API, payment gateway or AI/LLM API integrations Mobile-first UI, basic UX understanding and accessible front-end development Frappe version upgrades, migrations and production support Unit testing, API testing and CI/CD knowledge

Important expectation

This role gives equal importance to Frappe/ERPNext, Next.js and FastAPI. Applicants should be comfortable owning a feature across all three layers:

Frappe/ERPNext: business workflow, data, permissions and internal operations Next.js: user-facing portals, dashboards and interfaces FastAPI: secure services, integrations, AI and external APIs

Candidates with a major skill gap in any one of these three areas may not be suitable for this role.
