About the Role

We are looking for suitable candidates to join our Nursery Production Team for Vegetable Nursery (Grafted & Non-Grafted Plants) and Fruit Nursery Production.

The role involves planning, executing, and monitoring day-to-day nursery production activities, managing teams and labour, maintaining production records, and ensuring timely completion of planned nursery operations.

Educational Qualification

- B.Sc. Horticulture
- M.Sc. Horticulture
- Preference will be given to candidates having knowledge or interest in:
- Nursery production
- Horticultural crops
- Protected cultivation

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute production activities for vegetable and fruit nurseries.
- Manage grafted and non-grafted vegetable seedling production.
- Plan, execute, and monitor daily nursery operations.
- Ensure timely completion of planned production activities.
- Handle and manage nursery teams and field labour/workforce effectively.
- Maintain accurate daily production records and submit daily reports on time.
- Monitor production activities and ensure adherence to planned schedules.
- Coordinate with different departments and locations as per operational requirements.
- Ensure proper execution of nursery activities as per defined production plans and requirements.
- Work with computers, laptops, MS Excel, Google Sheets, and other basic MS Office tools for production records and reporting.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Good understanding of nursery production practices.




- Knowledge or interest in vegetable and fruit crop production.
- Understanding of grafted and non-grafted seedling production will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of protected cultivation will be preferred.
- Good communication, leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong team handling and labour management capabilities.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office, MS Excel, and Google Sheets.
- Ability to work in a production-oriented and target-driven setting.
- Proactive approach with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.

Location Flexibility

This is a field-based role, and candidates should be willing to work at Raipur or any other location across India, depending on the Company's operational requirements.

Flexibility for location transfer is an important requirement for this position.

Experience

Candidates with prior experience or academic exposure in nursery production, horticultural crops, protected cultivation, vegetable seedling production, or fruit nursery production will be preferred.

Freshers with the required educational qualification and a strong interest in nursery production may also be considered.
