HR ASSISTANTs

Job description:

HR assistants--- 6nos -- work at Defence Factory manufacturing pistols, guns, launchers for Indian Armed forces.

Qualification and Experience --- MBA / MSW / PGDM in HR, Any degree exposed with HR activities. FRESHERS also are considered, 1 yrs to 3 yrs experience in manufacturing / Engineering / Defence / Aerospace industry preferred.

Location --- Astr Defence Pvt Ltd, 4/2A Kadankoppa, Tq Kalghatgi, Karnataka – 581204 (15Km from Hubli City)

Company --- Astr Defence R&D; is a deep-tech defence manufacturing industry engaged in the indigenous design and development of advanced small arms, launchers, fire-control systems, and counter-UAV technologies for the Indian Armed Forces. Our focus is on rugged, mission-critical hardware engineered to military standards with high reliability, precision, and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-end recruitment for R&D; Engineers, diploma/ITI staff, office & support roles
- Coordinate interviews, issue offer & appointment letters
- Handle employee joining, documentation, NDA & exit formalities
- Maintain attendance, leave & HR records
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs (attendance, deductions, stipend)
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, labour laws & factory rules.




- Support admin activities (maintaining daily records, CRM, sheets)

Required Skills

- Basic to good knowledge of HR operations & recruitment
- Understanding of labour laws (PF, ESI, Factory Act)
- Valuable documentation & MS Excel skills
- Strong coordination and follow-up ability
- High confidentiality & discipline mindset

Work Environment

- Defence R&D; & manufacturing setup
- Discipline-oriented & process-driven
- Rural plant location (bus facility provided from Hubli city to factory)
- Timings – 9am to 6.30pm (Monday to Saturday)Sunday holiday.
