The Manager – Collections will be responsible for leading and managing the Accounts Receivable (AR) Collections team with a strong focus on Allergy specialty accounts. The role involves driving collection performance, reducing AR aging, improving cash flow, ensuring timely resolution of claims, and maintaining client satisfaction. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of US healthcare revenue cycle processes, payer guidelines, denial management, and Allergy specialty billing and collections.

Important: HealthRecon Connect currently operates under a hybrid work arrangement, with the number of remote workdays varying by team. However, depending on client deliverables and business needs, employees may be required to work in office for all five weekdays.

Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Lead and manage end-to-end AR Collections operations for Allergy specialty clients.
- Monitor collection performance and ensure achievement of revenue and productivity targets.
- Drive reduction of aged receivables and improve collection effectiveness.
- Oversee resolution of unpaid, underpaid, and denied claims.
- Review and analyze AR inventory to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with client-specific requirements and payer guidelines.
Team Management:
- Manage, mentor, and develop Team Leads and Collection Specialists.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to improve productivity and quality.
- Establish KPIs and monitor team performance against defined targets.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives.
Client Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for Allergy specialty collection accounts.
- Participate in client review meetings and present performance metrics.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and operational excellence.
- Address escalations and ensure timely resolution of client concerns.
Process Improvement:
- Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvement initiatives.
- Develop action plans to improve collection rates and reduce denials.
- Collaborate with Billing, Coding, Credentialing, and Payment Posting teams to optimize revenue cycle performance.
- Utilize data analytics to drive operational decisions.

Qualifications/Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- 8+ years of experience in US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience managing AR Collections teams.
- Strong experience handling Allergy specialty accounts and payer follow-up.
