Key Responsibilities

- Operate Horizontal Machining Center (HMC) machines to manufacture precision components.
- Set up fixtures, tools, and workpieces as per engineering drawings and process sheets.
- Load and edit CNC programs when required.
- Perform tool offset and wear offset corrections.
- Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
- Monitor machining quality, cycle time, and machine performance.
- Replace cutting tools and maintain coolant and lubrication levels.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and maintain machine cleanliness.
- Follow safety, quality, and 5S standards.
- Record production and inspection data as required.

Required Skills





- Experience operating HMC machines with controllers such as Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.;
- Knowledge of tooling, fixtures, cutting parameters, and machining processes.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.
- Basic troubleshooting and machine maintenance skills.

Qualifications

- ITI (Machinist/Turner/Fitter) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience operating HMC machines in a manufacturing setting.
