Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and trend-savvy Reel Editor to create engaging short-form content for social media. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of hooks, pacing, visual storytelling and current digital trends. The role involves transforming raw footage and long-form television content into high-impact reels that capture attention and encourage audience engagement.

Responsibilities

- Edit short-form videos and reels for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts and other digital platforms.
- Identify engaging moments from television episodes and convert them into compelling social media content.
- Create strong opening hooks to capture viewers’ attention within the first few seconds.
- Add subtitles, music, sound effects, transitions, motion graphics and platform-relevant visual elements.
- Adapt edits according to trending formats, audio, memes and audience preferences.
- Create promotional reels, episode highlights, character moments, teasers and behind-the-scenes content.
- Maintain the show’s tone, branding and visual identity across all social media content.
- Collaborate with the content, creative and social media teams to understand daily requirements.
- Incorporate feedback and deliver revisions within tight timelines.
- Optimize videos for different aspect ratios, durations and platform specifications.




- Organize footage, project files, music, graphics and completed content systematically.
- Deliver consistent volumes of high-quality content according to the social media calendar.

Requirements

- Proven experience editing reels, short-form videos or social media content.
- A strong portfolio showcasing creative, engaging and trend-relevant edits.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar editing software.
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and motion graphics is preferred.
- Solid understanding of social media trends, audience behaviour and platform algorithms.
- Excellent sense of pacing, music selection, visual rhythm and storytelling.
- Ability to create accurate and visually appealing subtitles in Gujarati and English.
- Ability to identify reel-worthy moments from long-form footage.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet daily deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with creative and social media teams.
- Degree or diploma in film editing, digital media, mass communication or a related field is preferred; relevant experience will also be considered.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
