We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Technician to join our Service Department. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles while ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of Hyundai vehicles.
- Identify mechanical, electrical, and technical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
- Carry out periodic maintenance and major repair jobs as per manufacturer guidelines.
- Handle complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Ensure all repair and maintenance work is completed accurately and within the required time.
- Follow Hyundai technical standards, safety procedures, and workshop guidelines.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation of repair and service activities.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors and Workshop Supervisors regarding vehicle repair status.
- Ensure tools and equipment are used properly and maintained in good condition.
- Maintain a clean and secure working environment in the workshop.
- Support junior technicians by providing technical guidance and assistance.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and minimize repeat repairs.
Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, or related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Automobile Technician.
- Experience in an authorized automobile dealership/service center is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Experience with Hyundai vehicles will be an added advantage.
