Cooking & Food Preparation

- Cook a wide variety of general dishes and complete meal preparations in a timely, efficient manner.
- Follow and slightly modify recipes to meet specific customer requests or dietary needs.
- Ensure appealing plate presentation, consistent food quality, and accurate portioning.
- Check the freshness of ingredients and properly store or discard leftovers. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Kitchen Leadership & Management

- Supervise, train, and mentor junior cooks and kitchen preparation staff.
- Delegate daily tasks, organize workflow, and coordinate service times with front-of-house or wait staff.
- Step in to assist the team with cooking and active service whenever the kitchen gets busy.
- Help interview and onboard new culinary team members. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Inventory & Stock Control

- Monitor food stock levels, track usage,



and place regular orders with approved suppliers.
- Inspect incoming food deliveries for quality, correct quantity, and accurate pricing.
- Maintain proper inventory logs and practice systematic food rotation (FIFO - First In, First Out). [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]

Safety, Sanitation & Compliance

- Enforce strict health, safety, and hygiene regulations across all food handling and preparation areas.
- Maintain clean equipment, sanitized workstations, and accurate temperature logs.
- Minimize food waste and oversee cost control strategies within the kitchen.

Pay: ₹1,200.00 - ₹1,300.00 per day
