Job Description – Mechanical Engineer (Offshore)

Position: Mechanical Engineer
Department: Projects / Engineering
Location: DAS Offshore Engineering Pvt. Ltd.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and review mechanical engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Execute mechanical engineering activities for offshore fabrication and construction projects.
- Coordinate with design, production, QA/QC, procurement, and project teams for smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable industry standards.
- Monitor fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Provide technical support during project execution and resolve engineering-related issues.
- Review vendor documents, material specifications, and technical submittals.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and project timelines.
- Prepare engineering reports, progress updates, and documentation.
- Participate in client meetings, inspections, and technical discussions.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.




- 3–4 years of experience in offshore fabrication, oil & gas, or EPC projects.
- Knowledge of offshore structures, piping, equipment, and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with ASME, API, ASTM, and other relevant industry standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of 3D design software is an added advantage.
- Exp in offshore Vessel cleaning and R-Stamping

Preferred Experience

- Experience in offshore platforms, jackets, topsides, modules, or oil & gas fabrication projects.
- Exposure to client specifications and project documentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project setting and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
