- We are looking for an Accountant who can THINK, not just enter data.
- We are a long-established hardware and paint retail/wholesale business in Trichy.
- We are looking for a responsible Accounts Executive who can take ownership of day-to-day accounts and help us keep the business financially clean, organized and under control.
- This is NOT a purely data-entry job.
- You will work with actual sales, purchases, customers, suppliers, payments, collections, stock and GST.

What you will handle

- Daily sales and purchase accounting
- Sales invoices, purchase invoices, receipts and payments
- Cash, UPI and bank transaction entries
- Customer outstanding / receivables follow-up
- Supplier outstanding / payables tracking
- Bank reconciliation
- Customer and supplier ledger reconciliation
- GST-related accounting and documentation
- Tally / Tally Prime entries and checking
- Credit notes, debit notes and adjustments
- Purchase and sales verification
- Stock-related accounting coordination
- Daily / weekly accounts reports
- Maintaining proper physical and digital records
- Preparing information required by our auditor / tax consultant
- Identifying mistakes, unusual entries and missing documents before they become problems

What we are looking for

Must have:

- Practical accounting experience
- Good working knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime
- Understanding of GST and basic taxation
- Good Excel knowledge
- Ability to reconcile ledgers and bank statements
- Good numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently

Strong advantage if you have experience with:

- Retail / wholesale accounting
- Hardware / building materials / paint / electrical / automobile / trading businesses
- High-volume invoicing
- Credit sales and collections
- Inventory and stock reconciliation
- GST reconciliation / GSTR-1 / GSTR-3B / 2B
- Handling multiple payment modes

If a customer outstanding doesn't look right, we expect you to investigate.

A small test before the interview

Don't worry — this is not a competitive exam.

We simply want to see whether you can think through an accounting problem instead of guessing.
