Job Description — Polycarbonate Sheet & Roll Store Manager

Position: Store Manager – Polycarbonate Sheets & Rolls

Department: Stores / Warehouse

Experience: 2–5 years in stores, warehouse, or inventory management, preferably in manufacturing/plastics.

Key Responsibilities

Manage receiving, storage, and dispatch of polycarbonate sheets, rolls, and related materials.

Maintain accurate stock records for sheets, rolls, raw materials, accessories, and packing materials.

Ensure proper stacking, handling, identification, and protection of polycarbonate sheets and rolls to prevent damage.

Check incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, quantity, size, thickness, colour, and specifications.

Issue materials to production as per approved material requests.

Maintain FIFO/FEFO wherever applicable and monitor slow-moving, excess, and damaged stock.

Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile differences with system records.

Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, Dispatch, and Accounts teams.

Maintain proper documentation for GRN, material issue, transfer, return, and dispatch.

Monitor warehouse housekeeping, safety,



and space utilization.

Ensure proper identification and traceability of different sizes, thicknesses, colours, grades, and roll numbers/batches.

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock and inventory reports.

Supervise store helpers and loading/unloading activities.

Required Skills

Valuable knowledge of inventory and warehouse management.

Experience with ERP/SAP/Tally or other inventory software preferred.

Good Excel and record-keeping skills.

Ability to handle physical stock counting and reconciliation.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Strong attention to material handling and preventing product damage.

Basic knowledge of warehouse safety practices.

Preferred Candidate

A candidate with experience in a plastic/polycarbonate manufacturing company, sheet/roll warehouse, or similar industrial store would be preferred.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
