The role will be responsible for managing and strengthening HR operations across the organisation while partnering with management and HODs to align people practices with business requirements. The role will oversee recruitment, employee lifecycle management, performance management, employee relations, HR administration, statutory compliance, HR MIS, and team management across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Business Partnering
- Partner with management and HODs to understand manpower and people requirements.
- Translate business requirements into effective HR plans and actions.
- Provide HR insights on manpower, productivity, attrition, employee costs, and organisational issues.
- Support recent business initiatives, location expansion, and organisational changes.
2. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for corporate, retail, manufacturing, and support functions.
- Prepare manpower plans based on business requirements and expansion plans.
- Coordinate sourcing, screening, interviews, selection, offer management, and joining.
- Develop effective recruitment channels and talent pipelines for multiple locations.
- Ensure timely onboarding and smooth induction of new employees.
3. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Oversee employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, probation, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and separation.
- Ensure proper maintenance of employee records and HR documentation.
- Monitor attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and other routine HR processes.
- Establish and implement standard HR processes and SOPs across locations.
4. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, conflicts, and workplace issues.
- Partner with HODs to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Plan and implement employee engagement, recognition, welfare, and team-building initiatives.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyse attrition trends to recommend retention measures.
5. Performance Management & Training
- Drive the performance management process, including goal setting, reviews, appraisals, and performance improvement plans.
- Coordinate with HODs to identify training and development requirements.
- Support talent development, succession planning, and career development initiatives.
- Identify skill gaps and coordinate appropriate training programmes.
6. Payroll, Compensation & Benefits
- Coordinate with Finance/Payroll for accurate and timely salary processing.
- Review payroll inputs and resolve employee payroll-related queries.
- Monitor manpower costs against approved budgets.
- Coordinate statutory and employee benefits including PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, Mediclaim, etc.
7. Statutory Compliance & HR Governance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate PF, ESI, Shops & Establishments, Contract Labour, POSH,
and other applicable compliances.
- Maintain statutory registers, licences, renewals, and compliance records.
- Coordinate with consultants, government authorities, and auditors whenever required.
- Ensure HR processes are audit-ready and compliant.
8. HR MIS & Systems
- Prepare and review HR MIS covering headcount, recruitment, attrition, attendance, leave, manpower cost, and other HR metrics.
- Ensure effective utilisation of HRMS/ERP for employee data, attendance, leave, and payroll processes.
- Analyse HR data and provide meaningful insights to management.
9. Team Management
- Lead, guide, and monitor the HR & Administration team across locations.
- Allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and develop team capabilities.
- Ensure consistent HR service delivery across all locations.
- Act as an escalation point for complex employee and HR matters.
Qualification
- MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification.
- Additional certification in HR/Industrial Relations/ Labour Laws will be an advantage.
Experience
- 12 + years of progressive experience in HR, including significant experience in General HR, Recruitment, Employee Relations, HR Operations, and HR Business Partnering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial/team-leadership or HRBP role.
- Experience in manufacturing, footwear, apparel, FMCG, retail, or consumer-facing industries will be preferred.
- Experience handling multi-location HR operations is highly desirable.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
