Shriji Car Rentals is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Finance Executive – Credit Control to manage customer accounts, monitor outstanding payments, ensure timely collections, and maintain accurate financial records.
The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of accounting principles, strong follow-up and communication skills, and the ability to manage receivables efficiently in a fast-paced car rental environment.
Key Responsibilities
Credit Control & Receivables
- Monitor customer outstanding balances and credit limits.
- Prepare and regularly update Accounts Receivable and Outstanding Reports.
- Follow up with customers for overdue payments through calls, emails, and other communication channels.
- Ensure timely collection of invoices and outstanding amounts.
- Track customer payment commitments and follow up until payment is received.
- Identify overdue and high-risk accounts and escalate them to the Finance Officer.
- Coordinate with the sales, operations, and billing teams to resolve payment-related issues.
- Reconcile customer accounts and ensure payments are correctly allocated.
- Record customer receipts and maintain accurate ledger balances.
- Perform regular customer ledger reconciliation.
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to receivables.
