Job Description – Mechanical Engineer
Job Type: Full-Time
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Job Summary
Kodex Global is looking for a Machine Handler / Mechanical Engineer to operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot machinery used in the manufacturing of construction chemicals. The candidate will work closely with the production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth and safe operation of machines.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor production machines used for construction chemical manufacturing.
- Sealant filling and sausage packing/filling machines to ensure accurate and efficient production
- Handle mixers, pumps, motors, reactors, pipelines, valves, and other mechanical equipment.
- Ensure proper machine operation during production.
- Identify and report machine abnormalities, breakdowns, leakage, unusual noise, or vibration.
- Assist in machine cleaning, maintenance, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Support the production team in machine setup, material charging, mixing, and unloading operations.
- Assist in installation, modification, and commissioning of new machinery.
- Coordinate with maintenance technicians and external vendors for machine repairs.
- Maintain basic records of machine operation, maintenance, breakdowns, and repairs.
- Ensure machines are operated safely and according to company procedures.
- Assist in maintaining mechanical spare parts and tools.




- Support improvement activities to increase machine efficiency and reduce breakdowns.
- Follow all safety, quality, housekeeping, and production requirements.
- Use MS Excel/Word and digital or AI-powered tools for basic reporting and documentation..

Required Skills

- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical machines and equipment.
- Practical understanding of pumps, motors, mixers, valves, pipelines, and mechanical systems.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle and operate industrial machinery responsibly.
- Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing setting.
- Freshers with good technical knowledge can also apply.

Preferred Experience

- 0–3 years of experience in machine handling, mechanical maintenance, production, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Experience in construction chemicals, chemical manufacturing, paints, adhesives, or similar industries will be an added advantage.
