Job Responsibilities
- Perform fitting, assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical components.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and measurements.
- Operate basic hand tools and fitting equipment safely.
- Perform drilling, grinding, cutting, filing, and other fitting operations.
- Inspect components to ensure proper dimensions, alignment, and quality.
- Assist in machine assembly and maintenance activities.
- Identify mechanical problems and report them to the supervisor.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to complete assigned work.
Required Skills
- ITI Fitter trade certification.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical tools and equipment.
- Ability to read basic engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier caliper and micrometer is an advantage.
- Valuable attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
