Position: Two-Wheeler Technician / Bike Mechanic

Job Purpose

To carry out accurate, efficient, and quality service and repair of Bajaj two-wheelers in accordance with company standards, ensuring customer satisfaction, vehicle safety, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Vehicle Inspection & Diagnosis
- Inspect vehicles and identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
- Diagnose problems using appropriate tools, equipment, and technical procedures.
- Conduct test rides when required to confirm the reported concern.
- Service & Repair
- Perform periodic maintenance and general servicing of Bajaj two-wheelers.
- Carry out engine, transmission, clutch, brake, suspension, steering, and electrical repairs.
- Replace defective or worn-out parts as per technical requirements.
- Perform oil changes, filter replacement, brake adjustments, chain maintenance, and other routine service activities.
- Electrical & Diagnostic Work
- Diagnose battery, starter, charging, lighting, ignition, and wiring-related problems.
- Use diagnostic equipment and follow the recommended troubleshooting procedures.
- Handle electronic and sensor-related issues where applicable.
- Quality & Safety
- Follow Bajaj service standards, repair procedures, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Ensure all repair work is completed correctly before vehicle delivery.
- Follow workshop safety procedures and use personal protective equipment.
- Maintain proper care of customer vehicles while they are in the workshop.
- Job Card & Documentation
- Read and understand the job card and customer complaints before starting work.




- Record additional repairs and parts requirements through the proper process.
- Complete technician-related service documentation accurately.
- Ensure replaced parts are handled according to service center procedures.
- Workshop Productivity
- Complete assigned jobs within the expected time.
- Maintain good productivity and minimize repeat repairs.
- Keep tools, workstations, and workshop areas clean and organized.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors and other technicians for smooth job completion.
- Customer Satisfaction
- Ensure vehicles are repaired according to customer complaints and service requirements.
- Avoid unnecessary replacement of parts and ensure transparent repair practices.
- Support the service team in resolving technical complaints and repeat issues.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of two-wheeler mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of engine, clutch, gearbox, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Ability to diagnose vehicle problems accurately.
- Ability to use basic workshop tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under time and productivity targets.
- Teamwork and good communication skills.
- Strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Educational Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Relevant two-wheeler mechanic experience may be considered in place of formal qualification.

Experience

- Freshers: Candidates with relevant ITI/Automobile training may apply.
- Experienced: 1–3 years or more experience in two-wheeler service/repair preferred.
- Experience in a Bajaj or other authorized two-wheeler service center will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
