Job Details

Lead and manage electrical design activities for pharmaceutical and biotech facility projects, from concept and detailed engineering through site commissioning. Responsible for electrical system design, SLDs, load calculations, power distribution, cable routing, lighting, earthing, documentation, code compliance, vendor coordination and multidisciplinary project coordination.

Candidate Profile Details Education B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is mandatory. Relevant engineering design qualifications preferred.



Experience 5+ years of overall electrical design/engineering experience. Minimum 3 years of hands-on Pharma/Biotech facility experience. Experience in engineering consultancy/design organizations handling Pharma, Biotech, Life Sciences or Cleanroom projects preferred. Technical Expertise Strong experience in Single Line Diagram (SLD) preparation and review. Electrical load calculations and equipment sizing. Power distribution system design. Cable schedules and cable routing. Electrical layouts. Lighting design and photometric calculations. Earthing and grounding systems. Switchboard design and electrical protection. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Knowledge of GMP, IEC, NEC and applicable local electrical standards. Managerial & Project Skills Ability to lead and manage an electrical design team. Strong multidisciplinary coordination with HVAC, process, civil/structural and cleanroom teams. Review and approve vendor drawings and technical documents. Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors and contractors. Provide technical support during installation, testing and commissioning.
