MPT Technician – Magnetic Particle Testing

Job Summary

We are looking for an MPT Technician to perform Magnetic Particle Testing on forged components and identify surface and near-surface defects as per quality standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT) on forged components.
- Identify cracks, laps, seams, inclusions, and other defects.
- Operate and maintain MPT inspection equipment.
- Evaluate and interpret MPT indications as per applicable standards.
- Maintain inspection reports and quality records.
- Ensure proper equipment calibration and inspection procedures.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams for defect identification and corrective action.




- Follow company quality, safety, and NDT procedures.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma / Technical qualification.
- MPT Level II certification preferred.

Experience

- Freshers to experienced candidates can apply.
- Experience in forging component inspection will be an added advantage.

Skills

- Knowledge of MPT methods and inspection procedures.
- Good understanding of forging defects.
- Good observation and reporting skills.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
