Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible VMC Machine Operator with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in operating Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) machines. The candidate will be responsible for machine setup, tool handling, machining operations, dimensional inspection, and maintaining production and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate VMC machines as per production requirements.
- Set up machines, tools, fixtures, and workpieces.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining specifications.
- Perform tool changes, tool offsets, and basic machine parameter adjustments.
- Carry out milling, drilling, tapping, boring, facing, and other machining operations.
- Monitor machining operations and achieve production targets.
- Inspect finished components using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Maintain required dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and report machine or tooling issues to the supervisor.
- Follow quality, production, and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and take care of machines, tools, and equipment.





Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2–3 years of practical experience in VMC machine operation.
- ITI in Machinist / Turner / Fitter or equivalent technical trade.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering will be an added advantage.
- Valuable knowledge of milling, drilling, tapping, boring, facing, and other machining operations.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical/engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, tool selection, and machining parameters.
- Good knowledge of measuring instruments and dimensional inspection.
- Basic knowledge of CNC programming, G-code, and M-code will be an advantage.
- Ability to meet production and quality targets.
- Strong attention to accuracy, quality, and workplace safety.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have practical experience operating VMC machines and should be comfortable with machine setup, tool changes, offsets, machining operations, and dimensional inspection. The candidate must be responsible, quality-focused, and capable of working efficiently in a production environment.

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
Location: Mandideep Industrial Area, Madhya Pradesh.
