OverviewA global enterprise is seeking a highly experienced Senior Enterprise Network Architect to drive the evolution of its worldwide corporate network. The successful candidate will play a key role in modernizing infrastructure through cloud-first networking, Zero Trust principles, automation, and next-generation security technologies while ensuring exceptional reliability, scalability, and performance across a large international environment.This position combines architecture, engineering, operations, technical leadership, and strategic planning responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, validate, implement, and support enterprise-wide network infrastructure, including:Cloud networkingData center networksWired and wireless networkingWAN and SD-WANRemote access solutionsZero Trust access platformsAuthentication systemsFirewalls and load balancersEvaluate emerging technologies, develop architectural recommendations, and participate in vendor/product selection activities.Lead and deliver both regional and global infrastructure initiatives.Provide mentorship to junior engineers and establish engineering best practices for network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.Create and maintain technical standards, architecture diagrams, operational procedures, documentation, and configuration baselines.Serve as the escalation point for complex network incidents by performing root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and proactively addressing performance, resilience, and capacity challenges.Drive the adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), network automation, and operational orchestration to reduce manual administration.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.Minimum 6 years of advanced hands-on network engineering experience with expertise in at least five of the following areas:Core NetworkingEnterprise routing technologies including OSPF, BGP,
and VRFSwitchingData center and campus switching environments utilizing platforms such as Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Nexus, or HPEZero Trust NetworkingExperience implementing and managing Zero Trust solutions, particularly:Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA)Zscaler Private Access (ZPA)Zscaler Client Connector (ZCC)Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX)Wireless NetworkingEnterprise wireless solutions such as Mist and Cisco WirelessNetwork SecurityNext-generation firewalls and security platforms including:Palo AltoFortinetIDS/IPS technologiesURL filtering solutionsPublic Cloud NetworkingAWSMicrosoft AzureGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP)SD-WANTechnologies such as EdgeConnect, Fortinet, or equivalent solutionsVPN TechnologiesSite-to-site VPNsIPsecDMVPNNetwork AuthenticationCisco ISE802.1XRADIUSTACACS+AIOps & ObservabilityNetwork analytics and operational intelligence platformsMonitoring & LoggingSNMPNetFlowEnterprise monitoring and logging frameworksNetwork AutomationNetwork orchestrationInfrastructure automationConfiguration managementAdditional RequirementsExperience coordinating with telecommunications providers and technology vendors.Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting capabilities.Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.Demonstrated interest in evaluating and adopting current networking technologies.Professional-level certifications from major networking or security vendors are strongly preferred, including certifications from:CiscoJuniperZscalerPalo Alto NetworksFortinetHPEPreferred Qualifications10+ years of networking experience.Experience operating large-scale enterprise environments with:100+ office locationsMultiple data centersDeep hands-on experience implementing Zero Trust architectures using Zscaler technologies.Advanced expertise in network security, including IDS, IPS, and web filtering technologies.Working knowledge of:Active DirectoryWindowsLinuxmacOSProject management and technical leadership experience.
