Role Description This full time remote Carpenter role focuses on delivering high-quality carpentry work for various residential and commercial projects coordinated through CareerBloc's clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting blueprints or project plans, measuring and cutting materials, and constructing, installing, and repairing structures such as frames, partitions, and fixtures. The Carpenter will perform finish carpentry tasks, including trim work, cabinetry, and detailed finishing to meet project specifications and aesthetic standards. The role also involves safe operation of hand and power tools,



adherence to building codes and safety regulations, accurate time and materials reporting, and regular communication with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of assignments.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Carpentry, including constructing, installing, and repairing wooden structures.
- Proficiency with Power Tools such as saws, drills, sanders, and nail guns, with a focus on safe operation.
- Experience in Framing, including walls, floors, and roofs, and ability to work from blueprints or technical drawings.
- Skilled use of Hand Tools such as hammers, chisels, levels, and measuring tools for precise workmanship.
- Capability in Finish Carpentry, including trim installation, doors, windows, cabinetry, and other detailed finishing work.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards, building codes, and best practices for job site safety.
- Ability to work independently in a remote project environment, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to different project requirements.
- Previous experience as a Carpenter or in a related construction trade; vocational training or certification in carpentry is an asset.
- Reliable access to tools, equipment, and a stable internet connection for remote coordination and reporting.
