7. To read all the imaging films and makes accurate reports
8. To confirm the work of the medical transcriptionist before finalizing and signing the reports

3. Medication related:
1. Prescription of medication
2. Providing written instruction to the nursing staff about dose
3. Duration/ site / precaution
4. Educate patient and staff
5. Check all records at least once / week
4. Department related:
1. Supervision of technicians/ nursing staff
2. To act as a spokesperson of the department
3.
Overall responsibility of the department
5. Additional Responsibilities if any –
1. Ensure highest level of patient care.
2. Ensure operational readiness of the department all the times.
3. Should be willing to assist / advise colleagues when called upon or in emergency.
4. To take active participation in the CME’s.
5. Ensure safety standards are fully met with in relation to Nuclear, Biological and chemical hazards.
6. Encourage regular intra departmental and inter departmental interaction.
7. To attend the emergency as per the emergency Rota, in the shortest possible time.
8. Any other tasks as deemed appropriate to ensure smooth operations of the department.
