Job Description: API Automation Test Engineer

Position: API Automation Test Engineer

Experience: 2 to 3 Years

Location: Bangalore / Pune / Chennai/Mumbai/Hyderabad

Required Skills

- Relevant years of experience in software testing with strong expertise in API Automation Testing.
- Hands-on experience in API automation using Rest Assured, Postman, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience in testing and automating RESTful APIs, Web Services, JSON, and XML payloads.
- Valuable understanding of TestNG, JUnit, Maven, Gradle, and Git.
- Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC/STLC processes.




- Experience in database testing using SQL and backend validation techniques.
- Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure Boards, etc.
- Understanding of API authentication and security mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Basic Authentication.
- Experience in integration testing, regression testing, and microservices testing.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
