MoEngage is looking for a talented Senior Product Designer to join our team. You'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, and UX Research to drive product strategy and design simple, delightful experiences that our customers love. If you're passionate about owning the end-to-end user journey, from ideation to final production, and possess a strong portfolio, this role offers a chance to make a significant impact.

Responsibilities

- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and UX Research to drive product strategy and to design easy experiences that our customers love.
- Own end-to-end user journey and all aspects of design execution from ideation to prototyping, to user testing, to final production.
- Participate in our design critique process, to receive and provide feedback on design work.
- Conduct user interviews remotely or in person, conduct user testing sessions, card sorting, and affinity mapping, conduct both qualitative and quantitative tests and analyze the data.
- Design high-impact, functional User Interfaces for web, mobile, and other mediums.
- Understand product requirements, and design accordingly.
- Empathize with the user through their journey(ies) and understand their needs.
- Communicate with users, researchers, product and tech teams to ensure everyone understands what is needed.
- Understand, discuss & present user research findings.
- Manage and contribute to the MoEngage Design System.

Ideal Candidate
- Has relevant experience in product design.
- Has a bachelors or masters degree in design, human-computer interaction, or other related areas.




- Has experience with designing scalable end-user, business web-based applications.
- Has a bias for rapid prototyping & experimentation.
- Has an exceptional portfolio that highlights your work and specific contributions to user-centered design solutions (Product design, UX Design).
- Has the willingness to learn, experiment, and take ownership.
- Has Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Empathizes with the user through their journey(ies) and understands their needs. Understands, discusses & presents user research findings.
- Well-versed in analyzing user behavior, product usage, and usability metrics to build data-driven design solutions.
- Has a knack for planning well, setting & communicating timelines & delivering delightful results.
- Has decent hands-on experience with SaaS / Enterprise-level applications.
- Visual design knowledge and/or user research proficiency is a bonus.

Educational Qualifications Preferred
- Category: Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree, Professional Course in HCI, HFI, or any other User-centric design curriculum.
- Field specialization: Art, Art Studies/General, Computer Software Engineering, Design and Applied Arts, Design and Visual Communication, Interaction Design.
- Degree: Bachelor of Engineering - BE, Bachelor of Fine Arts - BFA, Bachelor of Technology - BTech, Master of Fine Arts - MFA, Bachelors of Design, Masters of Design.
