MoEngage is seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. As a Senior QA Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products by developing and executing comprehensive test strategies.

At MoEngage, product development is a team effort. Our small, cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers, and designers work together to bring features to life. As a Senior QA Engineer, you'll be an integral part of one of these teams, responsible for ensuring the quality of our products from start to finish.

You Will Be Responsible For

- Test Planning to Execution: Plan, design, maintain, and execute test cases with minimal direction, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage software project quality from inception to delivery.
- Write and maintain automation test suites, delivering end-to-end testing solutions for complex projects.
- Driving quality by collaborating with other departments to resolve customer issues.
- Solve complex problems with minimal guidance, leading projects and driving initiatives to improve QA efficiency.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to junior team members, promoting skill development and experience.

Minimum Qualifications
- 5-6 years of experience only.
- Strong Fundamentals of Software Testing.
- API Testing and automation experience with tools like Postman/Newman, RestAssured or any other tool [Mandatory].




- Experience in creating well-defined Test Strategies for various types of Functional, Exploratory, and Regression testing initiatives.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Experience in UI automation using any tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
- Proficiency in understanding issues in complex web application issues through log analysis.
- Working knowledge with bug tracking and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for articulating technical concepts to stakeholders.
- Self-starter who can work independently with minimal oversight, possessing a robust work ethic and willingness to take initiative.

An Additional Advantage To Have
- Proficiency in developing and executing test plans and automation scripts using Python and test frameworks such as Pytest.
- Experience with Jenkins or other CI tools.
- Understanding of Cloud Computing Platforms such as AWS.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating system.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Mongo) / SQL.
- Contribution to Open-source projects.
