Summary:

We are looking to hire a skilled Pega developer to design and develop enterprise-level low code application. You will be responsible for development and deployment of large-scale Pega projects following the Industry best practices. This may involve developing BPM applications, integrating web services, designing data models and frameworks, and collating business analysis requirements.

To ensure success as a Pega developer, you should have advanced knowledge of Pega Class Hierarchy, experience with Java-based applications, and high-level project management skills. A top-level Pega developer understands the needs of the company and designs scalable applications to improve process management.

Principal Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

- Designing and developing business applications using the Pega 8 platform under the direction of an LSA
- Implementing solution within the Pega environment using Pega and Cotiviti best practices and standards
- Develops and demonstrates an advanced knowledge of the Pega Architecture and all design and implementation best practices and features
- Contributes to the continuous improvement of applications through participation in cooperative activities such as design and code reviews
- Designing class structures, application frameworks, and data models.
- Demonstrates a superior understanding and implements applications using the declarative and model-driven capabilities of the Pega platform.




- Coordinating with the project team to ensure the business architecture matches the needs of the customer.
- Integrating business databases, legacy systems, and web services.
- Troubleshooting application issues, coding bugs, and bottlenecks.
- Conducting system performance tests.
- Maintaining the security of all system applications.
- Provides mentorship to peers and junior team members.

Requirements:

- Excellent verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills; is a team player
- Very strong written skills showing the ability to convey functional details accurately in a well-structured and precise manner that describe end user problems and solutions
- Bachelors degree in software engineering or computer science.
- Proven work experience as a Pega developer.
- Advanced knowledge of Pega PRPC 5.x/6.x/7.x.; Certified CSSA/CLSA preferred.
- Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodology.
- Knowledge of coding languages including Angular JS, Java, and JQuery.
- Knowledge of web technologies including JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and XML.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
- Aptitude to learn quickly and a superb attention to detail and process orientation
