Asian Energy Services Ltd. is seeking a competent and experienced Shift In-Charge for its upstream oil & gas production site in Gudamalani, Barmer, Rajasthan. This role reports to the Production Superintendent.

About the Role

We are looking for a leader to manage end-to-end shift operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in process operations, a practical understanding of critical upstream equipment, and proven experience in team management and ensuring seamless shift transitions.

Key Responsibilities

As a Shift In-Charge, your primary responsibilities will include:

- Overseeing all shift operations for upstream production activities, including safety, output, and compliance.
- Monitoring process parameters and equipment set points, ensuring corrective actions are taken in case of deviation.
- Supervising the operation and troubleshooting of units such as Heater Treater, Gas Compressor, Settling Tank, Export Pumps, Produced Water Treatment Units, Gas Engine Generators, and tanker loading/unloading operations.
- Familiarity with Sucker Rod Pump (SRP) operations is preferred.
- Ensuring accurate data logging, shift reporting, and handover documentation.
- Coordinating with maintenance, safety,



and control room teams for effective execution of shift tasks.
- Ensuring the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental norms.
- Leading shift personnel, ensuring discipline, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

- A B.Tech degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Production Engineering (Chemical preferred).
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in upstream oil & gas process operations.
- Strong conceptual and working knowledge of upstream surface facilities and processing units.
- The ability to interpret and act on process flow diagrams, operating manuals, and real-time process data.
- Familiarity with operational safety, emergency handling, and compliance documentation.
