Junior Full-Stack Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and curious Junior Full-Stack Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you won't just be "fixing bugs"—you'll be a core part of the product lifecycle, from designing UI components to managing database schemas. You will work under the mentorship of senior engineers to build scalable web applications that deliver a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Feature Development: Build and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using modern frontend frameworks and backend services.
- Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers and Product Managers to translate Figma mockups and user stories into functional code.
- Database Management: Assist in designing and optimizing database schemas (SQL/NoSQL) and ensuring data integrity.
- API Integration: Develop and consume RESTful or GraphQL APIs to connect the frontend with backend logic.
- Testing & Quality: Write unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability. Participate in peer code reviews to maintain high standards.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies (e.g., AI-integrated development, Serverless architecture) and apply them to improve our stack.

Required Technical Skills
- Frontend: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+). Hands-on experience with React.js, Next.js, or Vue.js.
- Backend: Familiarity with server-side languages like Node.js, Python (FastAPI/Django), or Go.
- Typed Code:



A solid understanding of TypeScript (now an industry standard for catching bugs early).
- Databases: Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Tools: Proficient with Git (version control) and basic command-line operations.
- Testing: Exposure to testing frameworks like Jest, Vitest, or Cypress.

Preferred (Bonus) Skills
- Familiarity with Cloud platforms like AWS, Vercel, or Supabase.
- Experience using AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve velocity.

Soft Skills & Qualifications
- Degree: Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience/Bootcamp certification).
- Mindset: A "growth mindset" with a hunger to learn new frameworks and solve complex problems.
- Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.
- Portfolio: A GitHub profile or personal portfolio featuring at least 2-3 full-stack projects that demonstrate end-to-end logic.
