We at Coforge are seeking a Storage Administrator" with hands-on expertise in IBM Storage technologies to manage, monitor, and maintain enterprise storage infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for administration, capacity planning, performance monitoring, fault resolution, backup coordination, and documentation activities within an FMS.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer, monitor, and maintain IBM Storage infrastructure to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Perform storage provisioning, allocation, configuration, and decommissioning activities.
- Monitor storage capacity utilization and conduct capacity planning to support business growth.
- Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related incidents, performance issues, and hardware/software faults.
- Coordinate with backup teams to ensure successful backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations.
- Perform storage health checks, preventive maintenance, firmware upgrades, and patch management activities.
- Support SAN infrastructure management, including zoning, LUN masking, and storage connectivity troubleshooting.
- Maintain operational documentation, SOPs,



asset inventories, and configuration records.
- Ensure adherence to SLA commitments, change management procedures, and ITIL processes.
- Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for issue resolution, escalations, and hardware replacement activities.
- Generate periodic operational, utilization, capacity, and incident reports.
