1. ETL / Data Testing

- Validate end-to-end ETL pipelines including extraction, transformation, staging, warehousing, and reporting
- Perform source-to-target mapping, data reconciliation, record count checks, and CDC/incremental load validation
- Write optimized, advanced SQL queries to validate transformation rules, aggregations, joins, and business logic
- Validate data transformations on Databricks and cloud pipelines
- Work across SQL Server, Snowflake, MongoDB, or similar platforms
- Ensure validations reflect actual business rules, not just technical mappings

2. Business Logic Understanding

- Understand business context, domain workflows, KPIs, and transformation logic
- Validate ETL outputs against business rules and metrics
- Collaborate with business SMEs to translate requirements into effective test cases

3. UI Automation Testing

- Develop and maintain UI automation using Selenium / Playwright / Cypress / Protractor
- Test Angular (14+) or Vue.js applications
- Perform functional, regression,



and end-to-end UI testing aligned with business expectations

4. API & Integration Testing

- Perform API testing using Postman / REST Assured
- Integrate API, UI, and data validation into unified automated workflows

5. Automation & CI/CD

- Build automation scripts using Python or Java
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins)
- Maintain and enhance automation frameworks

Required Skills

- Strong SQL expertise (joins, aggregations, profiling, logic validation)
- Solid ETL/Data testing experience with DW concepts
- Robust business logic interpretation skills
- Hands-on UI automation experience
- Python or Java scripting
- Exposure to Databricks or cloud data platforms
- Agile/Scrum experience

- Cloud exposure (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- BI validation (Power BI / Tableau / Looker)
