Job Title: Java Full Stack COE Lead

Job Summary: The Technology Centre of Excellence (CoE) Lead for Java Full Stack Technologies will

drive innovation, set technical standards, and enable best practices across the organization. This role

is responsible for building technical capability, fostering collaboration, and ensuring alignment with

business goals. The CoE Lead will serve as a thought leader and mentor, empowering teams to

deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities: Strategic

Leadership: o Define and implement the technology vision, strategy, and roadmap for Java and Full

Stack technologies o Align CoE goals with overall organizational strategy o Identify emerging

technology trends and evaluate their impact on the organization Technical Excellence: o Establish

and enforce coding standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices for Java and Full Stack

development o Drive adoption of modern frameworks, tools, and technologies to improve

productivity and quality Innovation and Research: o Lead innovation initiatives, proof of concepts

(PoCs), and research projects to Stay updated with emerging Java and Full Stack technologies and

assess their relevance of Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement Team

Development and Mentoring: o Build and nurture a high-performing teams of developers, architects,

and technical leads to Provide coaching, mentorship, and skill development opportunities o Foster





knowledge sharing and collaboration within the organization Governance and Compliance: o Ensure

adherence to software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, security protocols, and compliance

standards o Review and approve technical designs and solutions Collaboration: o Partner with

product owners and cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with organizational

priorities o Facilitate communication and collaboration between development teams and other CoEs

Qualifications: Education: o Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a

related field. Master s degree preferred Experience: o 14+ years of experience in Java and Full Stack

technologies, with at least 3 years in a leadership or CoE role Technical Proficiency: o Strong

expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs o Proficiency in front-end

frameworks (e.g., ReactJS, Angular) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) o Experience with

DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Leadership

Communication: o Solid leadership mentorship skills o Excellent communication and stakeholder

management abilities o Proven ability to build consensus and drive change across teams

Certifications: o Relevant certifications in Java, cloud technologies, or enterprise architecture (e.g.

TOGAF) are a plus
