GCP DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled GCP DevOps Engineer with solid experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Python scripting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure while driving automation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Develop automation scripts and tools using Python.
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security using cloud-native monitoring tools.
- Implement DevOps best practices for release management, configuration management, and incident response.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployments and improve reliability.





Required Skills

- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Hands-on expertise in Python scripting and automation.
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (GKE).
- Knowledge of Linux administration and Shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Git and version control systems.
- Understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security, and monitoring.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of Ansible or configuration management tools.
- Experience with Cloud Build, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Pub/Sub.
- Exposure to SRE practices and observability tools.
