Embedded Systems: MCU (ARM Cortex, NRF52), RTOS basics
Interfaces/Protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO
Wireless: BLE (GATT, advertising, connection testing)
HIL Testing: Hardware-in-the-Loop setup and validation
Device Control: PySerial, JTAG/SWD (Segger J-Link)
Firmware Handling: Flashing, debugging, OTA validation
Logging Debugging: UART logs, RTT logs, log parsing automation
Test Infrastructure: Test harness development, simulation tools
CI/CD: Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins
Performance Testing: Stress, soak, power consumption testing
Reporting: Allure / HTML reports
Automation Scope: Regression, functional, system-level validation
Embedded Systems Knowledge
Understanding of MCU architecture (e.g., ARM Cortex, NRF52)
Knowledge of:
GPIO, UART, SPI, I2C communication
Interrupts, timers, watchdogs
Firmware flashing and upgrade validation , hands-on experience in BDD (Cucumber/Behave), Communication Protocol Testing
Solid experience testing:
UART, SPI, I2C, BLE, MQTT (if IoT)
Writing automation for protocol validation
Packet-level debugging and analysis, BLE / Wireless Automation (if applicable)
Automation of:
BLE scanning, connection, GATT validation
Tools:
nRF Connect APIs, BLE automation scripts
Validation of:
