Manufacturing Excellence Lead – Induri, Pune
We are looking for a Manufacturing Excellence Lead for our manufacturing site at Induri, Pune.
Internally at Mondelz, this role is known as the IL6S Lead (Integrated Lean Six Sigma).
The role will partner closely with the Plant Director and Plant Leadership Team to drive the site's manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement journey, with a solid focus on loss elimination, productivity, OEE, reliability, capability building and sustainable improvement.
Ideal Candidate
We are open to candidates from two relevant backgrounds:
- Strong Manufacturing / Production / Plant Operations professionals who have driven TPM, Lean, IWS, WCM, OEE or Continuous Improvement initiatives; OR
- Manufacturing Excellence / Operational Excellence / Continuous Improvement professionals with strong hands-on plant and shopfloor exposure
Key Experience & Skills
- Approximately 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing/plant environments, preferably FMCG, Food, Beverages or Consumer Goods
- Strong exposure to Manufacturing Operations,
Production Management or Plant Operations
- Experience with TPM, Lean Manufacturing, IWS, WCM, Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence
- Understanding of OEE, loss elimination, root cause analysis, Kaizen and productivity improvement
- Exposure to pillars such as Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance or Focused Improvement is preferred
- Experience leading and influencing operators, frontline teams and cross-functional plant stakeholders
- Strong capability in coaching, capability building, structured problem solving and change management
The successful candidate should combine strong shopfloor credibility with a continuous improvement mindset and be capable of influencing Production, Engineering, Quality and other plant functions to build sustainable manufacturing systems and a strong continuous improvement culture.
Education: B.E./B.Tech or equivalent Engineering qualification preferred.
