We are looking for Automotive Design Engineers with solid experience in CATIA V5, GD&T;, dimensional understanding, tolerance analysis and manufacturing/assembly feasibility to work on a long-term engineering project supporting a German Automotive OEM.

The role involves working closely with Design, Manufacturing, Quality and Dimensional Engineering teams to support vehicle and component development activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform automotive product design and engineering activities using CATIA V5.
- Interpret engineering drawings, dimensions and GD&T; requirements.
- Understand datum systems and 3-2-1 locating principles.
- Support tolerance and dimensional analysis of automotive components and assemblies.
- Review design for manufacturing and assembly feasibility.
- Support dimensional validation of automotive components.
- Perform clearance and clash analysis.
- Support Gap & Flush related engineering activities.
- Review engineering changes and understand their dimensional impact.




- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation.
- Coordinate with Design, Manufacturing and Quality teams for technical issues.
- Support dimensional problem-solving and engineering improvement activities.

Required Skills
- 2–5 years Automotive Design experience
- Strong CATIA V5 experience
- Automotive product design experience
- Good understanding of GD&T;
- Tolerance & tolerance stack-up
- Engineering drawing interpretation
- Datum / 3-2-1 principle
- Manufacturing & assembly feasibility
- Dimensional understanding
