Job description

Role Purpose

To lead, standardize, and govern automation systems across multiple manufacturing sites, ensuring high reliability of PLC/SCADA platforms, successful automation project delivery, and advancement of Industry 4.0 and OTIT integration initiatives.

Key Accountabilities

Standardize PLC/SCADA/HMI, VFD, alarm, and network architecture across plants
Improve automation reliability by reducing breakdowns, MTTR, and repeat faults
Deliver automation projects on time, within scope and budget
Enable OT–IT integration for reporting, analytics, remote monitoring, and predictive maintenance
Ensure governance through documentation, backups, change control, and cybersecurity compliance

Key Responsibilities





Define and execute a multi-year automation and Industry 4.0 roadmap aligned with business goals
Lead central automation governance and coordinate plant automation teams
Own end-to-end automation project execution (design, FAT/SAT, commissioning, stabilization)
Manage vendors, budgets, schedules, and engineering quality standards
Drive PLC/SCADA integration with MES, ERP, historians, and analytics platforms
Define automation KPIs and lead preventive maintenance, RCA, and CAPA initiatives
Enforce OT cybersecurity practices and maintain automation documentation and asset registers
Build and develop a capable multi-site automation team and promote knowledge sharing
