Key Responsibilities
- Test raw materials and finished stainless steel tubes for quality and strength.
- Inspect microstructure using lab tools like microscopes and spectrometers.
- Oversee heat treatment processes like annealing to get the right metal hardness.
- Check failed parts to find the root cause of defects.
- Make sure products meet global standards like ASTM, ASME, and ISO.
- Write technical reports and guide the production team on metal behavior.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Metallurgical Engineering is mandatory.
- Experience with testing methods like tensile testing, PMI, and hardness testing.
- Valuable problem-solving and safety skills in a factory setting.
- English proficiency is a must.
