About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned E-Invoicing Product Architect to define and lead the global technical architecture for digital tax compliance and electronic invoicing. In this role, you will own the architectural roadmap, integration blueprints, and country onboarding frameworks as we scale our Global E-Invoicing Centre of Expertise (COE) .

You will bridge the gap between regulatory mandates and enterprise technology,



collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Tax, Procurement, and IT to build future-proof, highly scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Architectural Strategy & Governance: Define and own the end-to-end global e-invoicing architecture, technical integration standards, and technology roadmap.
- Global Rollout Frameworks: Design standardized, scalable country onboarding frameworks to support continuous international regulatory rollouts (e.g., Peppol, Continuous Transaction Controls / CTC models, digital reporting).
- Integration & Systems Design: Architect secure, real-time integrations connecting ERPs (SAP ECC/S4HANA) to middleware and third-party e-invoicing platforms using APIs, EDI, and modern data formats.
- COE Leadership: Help establish, scale, and govern best practices within the Global E-Invoicing COE, ensuring compliance with changing fiscal and legal requirements.
- Vendor & Platform Evaluation: Oversee technical vendor assessments, platform governance, and system performance across third-party tax engines and e-invoicing providers.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the primary technical advisor across Finance, Corporate Tax, Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P),



Record-to-Report (R2R), and Core IT teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: 8+ years of experience in Enterprise/Solution Architecture, System Integration, or Digital Tax Compliance, including at least 4+ years dedicated to enterprise architecture and integration design.
- ERP & Compliance Expertise: Deep technical proficiency in SAP ECC / S4HANA and SAP DRC (Document and Reporting Compliance) / SAP eDocument.
- Business Process Knowledge: Strong functional understanding of end-to-end finance processes: O2C, I2P/P2P, and R2R.
- Integration & Middleware: Hands-on experience with contemporary integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, SAP BTP, Boomi) and protocols/formats (REST/SOAP APIs, EDI, XML, UBL, JSON).
- E-Invoicing Ecosystem: Practical experience with global e-invoicing platforms such as Sovos, Pagero, SAP Document Compliance, Avalara, or Tungsten.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Peppol protocols, CTC/clearing models, global digital reporting, and cross-border e-invoicing mandates.
- Communication & Influence: Proven track record of aligning senior technical and business stakeholders across complex global enterprises.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience with tools and platforms such as EDICOM, OpenText VIM, and HighRadius.
- Experience leading architecture within a shared services or COE operating model.
- Certifications in Enterprise Architecture (e.g., TOGAF) or cloud/middleware platforms (e.g., SAP BTP, MuleSoft).
