About the Role REFA is looking for an experienced Head of Sales & Business Development to take complete challenge of our industrial sales function and lead the company's next phase of growth.

This position is strictly for candidates with prior Sales Head / senior sales leadership experience in Metal Surface Preparation, Metal Pretreatment, and Industrial Metal Cleaning & Degreasing Chemicals.

Candidates from general chemical sales, FMCG, pharma, consumer products, trading or unrelated industries should not apply .

Key Responsibilities Take complete ownership of Sales & Business Development .
Analyse the existing sales organization within the given time frame.
Improve the productivity and sales performance of the existing sales team .
Set and monitor salesperson targets, KPIs, territories, pipelines and account plans.
Coach and guide the sales team on prospecting, technical selling, plant trials, follow-ups, negotiations and conversions.
Increase business from existing customers through account penetration and cross-selling.
Reactivate dormant and lost customers.
Acquire new industrial customers through plant visits, RFQs, samples and technical trials.
Develop business with OEMs, Tier-1/Tier-2 manufacturers and major engineering companies .




Drive product/brand approvals with major industrial OEMs.
Identify and appoint distributors/channel partners across industrial territories.
Recruit additional salespeople where commercially justified.
Establish professional sales reporting, forecasting and pipeline-management systems.
Monitor revenue, margins, collections, new customers, conversions and salesperson productivity.
Build a scalable pan-India sales organization .

Metal Cleaning & Degreasing Chemicals
Metal Surface Preparation Chemicals
Metal Pretreatment Chemicals
Multi-Metal Degreasers
Phosphating Chemicals
Passivation Chemicals
Rust Removal & Rust Preventive Chemicals
Pickling / Descaling Chemicals
Metal Finishing / Conversion Treatment Chemicals

Candidate Requirements Candidates should apply ONLY if they have:
15-25 years of relevant industrial B2B sales experience
Prior experience as a Sales Head / National Sales Manager / Zonal or Regional Sales Head / equivalent senior sales leadership position
Strong direct experience in Metal Surface Preparation, Metal Pretreatment AND/OR Industrial Metal Cleaning & Degreasing Chemicals




Proven experience leading and improving a sales team
Experience handling OEMs and Tier-1/Tier-2 industrial customers
Experience with technical sales, customer plant trials and product approvals
Distributor/channel-development experience
Proven responsibility for significant sales revenue and business growth
Strong knowledge of major Indian industrial clusters

We are specifically looking for someone who has already led a sales function/team in the metal surface preparation, pretreatment, cleaning & degreasing chemical industry.
Candidates without relevant industry experience AND sales leadership experience are requested not to apply .
