About the Role

We're looking for curious engineers who enjoy solving problems and have a robust foundation in software development.

We care more about how you think than the programming language you currently use. If you have solid fundamentals and are eager to learn, we'll help you build production-grade financial systems.

Responsibilities

- Develop backend APIs and services.
- Implement features from functional requirements.
- Write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
- Fix bugs and improve application stability.
- Work with databases to store and retrieve data.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and fellow engineers.
- Learn engineering best practices from senior team members.

Must Have

Programming Fundamentals

- Strong understanding of any one programming language.
- Object-Oriented Programming fundamentals.
- Basic Data Structures and Algorithms.




- REST API fundamentals.
- Git basics.

Database Fundamentals

Comfortable with:

- SQL
- CRUD operations
- Joins
- Primary & Foreign Keys
- Indexes (basic understanding)
- Transactions (basic understanding)

Problem Solving

- Can understand requirements before coding.
- Can debug issues using logs and breakpoints.
- Writes modular code.
- Willing to learn new concepts.

Good to Have

Exposure to:

- Java / Kotlin
- Node.js / TypeScript
- Python
- Go
- MySQL / PostgreSQL
- Redis
- Docker
- Linux
- AWS or any cloud platform
