We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with 4-6 years of experience in managing software development and technology projects, preferably in the FinTech, BFSI, Capital Markets, Stock Broking, or Trading domain.

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and delivering projects within defined scope, timelines, quality standards, and budgets. The role requires close collaboration with Product, Development, QA, Operations, Infrastructure, Business, and Client teams to ensure successful project delivery.

The ideal candidate should have strong project planning, stakeholder management, communication, risk management, problem-solving, and delivery management skills, along with a good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution

- Manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards.
- Prepare project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of project activities.
- Track project progress against planned timelines and identify delays, risks, and dependencies.
- Ensure project deliverables meet agreed requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct regular project status reviews and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

2. Stakeholder & Client Management

- Act as the primary project-level point of contact for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Coordinate effectively with Product, Technology, QA, Operations, Infrastructure, and Business teams.
- Understand stakeholder and client requirements and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct project meetings and maintain clear action items, ownership, and timelines.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management.
- Escalate critical issues, risks, and dependencies in a timely manner.
- Manage client expectations regarding scope, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.

3. Risk, Issue & Dependency Management

- Proactively identify project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Maintain and regularly update risk and issue trackers.
- Develop mitigation plans and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution.
- Monitor critical dependencies that may impact project timelines or deliverables.
- Ensure appropriate escalation of high-impact issues.

4. Agile & Project Management

- Manage projects using Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies, depending on project requirements.
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups,



sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies where applicable.
- Work closely with Product Owners and Technology teams to manage project priorities and deliverables.
- Track sprint progress, velocity, milestones, and overall project health.
- Ensure effective collaboration between business and technical teams.

5. Project Monitoring & Reporting

- Track project scope, timelines, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Prepare and maintain project status reports, dashboards, and project documentation.
- Monitor project KPIs and provide visibility into overall project health.
- Identify deviations from the approved plan and take corrective action.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project decisions, changes, approvals, and action items.

6. Client & Implementation Management

- Coordinate with clients during project implementation and delivery phases.
- Understand client requirements and translate them into actionable project deliverables.
- Coordinate UAT, implementation, deployment, and post-release activities as required.
- Ensure project deliverables meet agreed client requirements and SLAs.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and release.

7. Change & Scope Management

- Manage changes to project scope, requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Assess the impact of proposed changes on resources, timelines, costs, and dependencies.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to obtain approvals before implementing significant changes.
- Identify and control scope creep throughout the project lifecycle.

8. Quality & Delivery Management

- Work closely with QA and Technology teams to ensure project quality standards are maintained.
- Ensure testing, UAT, defect resolution, and release activities are aligned with project timelines.
- Monitor project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with requirements.
- Support timely resolution of delivery-related issues.

9. Process Improvement

- Identify opportunities to improve project management processes, tools, and delivery practices.
- Contribute to standardization of project management templates, reports, and workflows.
- Promote effective project governance and documentation practices.




- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Project Management function.

Key Skills & Competencies

- 4-6 years of experience in Project Management / Technology Project Delivery.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Hands-on experience managing software development or technology implementation projects.
- Good understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder and client management skills.
- Excellent project planning, coordination, and execution capabilities.
- Strong risk, issue, dependency, and change management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Zoho Projects, MS Project, or similar platforms.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced technology environment.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in Project Management or Technology Project Delivery.
- Experience working with cross-functional technology teams.
- Experience in FinTech, BFSI, or Capital Markets projects will be an added advantage.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or other relevant certifications will be preferred.
