1 Execute day-to-day production activities as per the approved production plan and schedule. Supervise manufacturing activities such as dispensing, granulation, drying, blending, compression, coating, Liquid Manufacturing, Filling, Sealing, Packing of solid and liquid dosage operations. Ensure manufacturing activities are performed strictly as per approved BMR/BPR, SOPs, and work instructions.

2 Ensure correct identification and status of materials, equipment, rooms, and products before starting operations. Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with defined process parameters

3 Coordinate with Planning, Warehouse, QA, QC, Engineering, and other supporting departments for smooth production operations. Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, equipment, materials, and utilities. Monitor production output, yield, rejection, downtime, and process losses.

4 Ensure strict compliance with GMP, cGMP, SOPs, safety requirements, and site quality systems. Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of production areas in accordance with GMP requirements

5 Ensure proper personnel and material movement within manufacturing areas. Ensure appropriate gowning, hygiene, and entry/exit practices are followed. Prevent cross-contamination, mix-ups, and contamination risks through proper operational controls

6 Immediately report GMP deviations, abnormalities, breakdowns, spills, or safety incidents to the concerned supervisor/department. Participate in internal audits, customer audits, regulatory inspections, and GMP walkthroughs as required. Support implementation and closure of CAPA, deviation, change control,



and other quality-system actions

7 Ensure and maintain accurate and timely completion of BMR/BPR and other production records. Ensure and maintain all entries are made contemporaneously, accurately, legibly, and in accordance with GDP requirements. Review production documentation for completeness and correctness before submission to QA.

8 Maintain equipment logbooks, cleaning records, area clearance records, and other applicable production documents. Ensure and maintain proper documentation of equipment usage, cleaning, line clearance, and process activities. Report and document any deviation from approved procedures. Ensure production equipment is operated only after confirming its cleaning, calibration, qualification, and maintenance status. Coordinate with Engineering for preventive maintenance and breakdown-related activities.

9 Ensure equipment cleaning is performed as per approved procedures and schedules. Monitor production-area temperature, RH, differential pressure, and other applicable environmental parameters. Ensure production areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with GMP requirements. Ensure utilities are appropriately operated and switched off after completion of activities, wherever applicable.





10 Allocate manpower according to the production plan and operational requirements. Supervise operators and production workers during manufacturing activities. Train and guide personnel on SOPs, GMP, safety, equipment operation, and good documentation practices. Monitor personnel performance, discipline, attendance, and compliance with departmental procedures. Identify training requirements and coordinate with the concerned department for completion.

11 Coordinate with IPQA/QC for in-process checks and sampling requirements. Ensure line clearance is completed before commencement of each applicable activity. Support investigation of process deviations, out-of-trend observations, yield discrepancies, and other manufacturing-related issues

12 Ensure compliance with all plant and departmental safety requirements. Ensure appropriate PPE is worn during manufacturing activities. Promote safe working practices and valuable housekeeping within the department. Ensure fire and emergency equipment remains accessible and unobstructed. Participate in safety training, emergency drills, and incident investigations as required.

13 Identify opportunities for improving productivity, reducing downtime, minimizing wastage, and improving process efficiency. Support implementation of Lean, 5S, productivity improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives

14 Contribute to reduction of rejection, rework, process losses, and equipment downtime

15 Preparation of production plan with its timely completion
