Senior Accountant Publishing

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Accountant with a robust background in the publishing industry. The ideal candidate must possess extensive knowledge of publishing accounting, inventory management, royalty accounting where applicable, taxation, vendor management, statutory compliance, and ERP-based financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage complete books of accounts; prepare financial statements; manage AP/AR, bank reconciliations, cash flow, GST, TDS, Income Tax compliance, audits, month-end/year-end closing, inventory accounting, vendor payments, MIS reporting, budgeting support, and financial controls.
- Mandatory Requirements B.Com (CA Inter/M.Com preferred); minimum 58 years' experience; Publishing industry experience is mandatory; advanced Tally Prime; ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/Odoo/Zoho/Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent); advanced Excel; strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC and payroll accounting
