Role :- Java Technical Lead

Experience:- 8+ years

Location:- Chennai, Pune

Required Technical Skill Set:-Java 17+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, AWS ECS Fargate, S3, Step Functions, API Gateway, RDS, Lambda, PostgreSQL/MS SQL Server, JPA/AWS, Hibernate, OAuth2/JWT/SSO, Kafka/SQS/SNS, Spring Batch/ETL, Git/GitHub, CI/CD

Must-Have

- Must have experience in Java 17+, OOP, design patterns, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, Spring Security, JDBC/JPA/Hibernate, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Must have experience in AWS cloud services including ECS Fargate, S3, Step Functions, API Gateway, RDS PostgreSQL, Lambda, multi-AZ, high availability, and disaster recovery patterns.
- Must have experience in PostgreSQL/MS SQL Server, schema design, query optimization, performance tuning, batch processing, ETL, file ingestion, validation pipelines, and Spring Batch.
- Must have experience in OAuth2, JWT, SSO, IAM, encryption, secrets management, audit trails, regulatory compliance, logging, monitoring, CloudWatch, and ELK.
- Must have experience in event-driven architecture using Kafka, SQS/SNS, messaging/streaming platforms, SFTP/FileX, APIs, S3 landing zones, workflow orchestration, and rules/decisioning services.
- React OR Angular OR NodeJS, Azure Kubernetes Services(AKS)
- Must have experience working with either of Java UI Tech Stack Angular/NodeJS/Vue JS
- Must have experience in Git/GitHub, branching strategy, pull requests, code reviews, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Agile/Scrum, estimation, dependency tracking, and technical risk mitigation.
- Must have 8+ years of Java/Spring Boot development experience with 3+ years in lead/architect role, including HLD/LLD, architecture reviews, coding standards, and mentoring developers.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1 Design, develop, and deliver Java 17+ Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native services aligned to enterprise architecture standards.

2 Lead AWS microservices architecture using ECS Fargate, Step Functions, API Gateway, S3, RDS PostgreSQL, Lambda, and resilient multi-AZ deployment patterns.

3 Create and maintain HLD/LLD, solution design documents, API specifications, architecture decisions, and technical documentation in Confluence.

4 Drive technical delivery across Agile teams/pods including estimation, planning, dependency tracking, code reviews, quality governance, and risk mitigation.

5 Integrate with upstream and downstream systems through SFTP/FileX, APIs, S3 landing zones, messaging platforms, and workflow orchestration services.

6 Implement security, auditability, compliance, and observability controls including OAuth2/JWT/SSO, IAM, encryption, audit logs, CloudWatch/ELK, and incident diagnostics.

7 Mentor and guide developers, enforce coding standards and best practices, support technical design sessions, and contribute to production support and incident resolution.

8 Support batch processing, ETL, file ingestion, validation pipelines, and decisioning/rules services for regulated banking business processes.

9 Ensure performance tuning, scalability, high availability, disaster recovery readiness, release management, and deployment governance in financial services environments.

10 Collaborate with Managers, enterprise architects, business stakeholders, vendors, QA, DevOps, and support teams to deliver secure, scalable, and auditable solutions.
