Job Description:

Desktop Engineer:

Laptop & Desktop Engineer to provide technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network-related issues.

Install and configure Windows operating systems, drivers, applications, and security updates.

Perform hardware upgrades, replacement of components, and preventive maintenance.

Configure user accounts, email,



printers, shared drives, and other workplace applications.

Provide first-level and second-level technical support to end users.

Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and basic connectivity issues.

Maintain IT asset records, device inventory, and hardware allocation details.

Ensure antivirus, endpoint security, patches, and other security controls are up to date.

Install and configure standard business applications as required.

Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims, repairs, and replacement of IT equipment.

Maintain service desk/ticket records and ensure incidents are resolved within defined SLAs.

Assist with laptop/desktop deployment, user onboarding, and device handover.
