Role Overview

Infosys is looking for experienced Java Developers with Spring boot expertise to build and support scalable, cloud-native applications for global clients. The role involves developing microservices, deploying applications on AWS, and contributing to modern digital transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications using Spring Boot
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices aligned with business requirements
- Build and deploy applications on AWS cloud infrastructure
- Implement application security, logging, and monitoring best practices
- Work with databases to design schemas, write optimized queries, and ensure data integrity
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and business teams
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies
- Perform application troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support
- Ensure adherence to Infosys quality standards, SDLC, and compliance requirements

Required Technical Skills

Core Backend

- Strong experience in Java (Java 8 or above)
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring ORM
- Experience building microservices and REST APIs




- Working knowledge of Hibernate / JPA

AWS Cloud

- Hands-on experience with AWS services, such as:
- EC2, S3, RDS
- Lambda (good to have)
- API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch

- Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS
- Understanding of cloud security, scalability, and high availability concepts

Database & Messaging

- Experience with RDBMS (Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL)
- Exposure to NoSQL databases (DynamoDB / MongoDB good to have)
- Experience with messaging tools like Kafka / AWS SQS / SNS is a plus

DevOps & Tools

- Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS DevOps tools)
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage

Soft Skills

- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently and within distributed global teams
- Willingness to learn new technologies and cloud-native practices

Educational Qualification

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
