Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Matillion Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines integrating Matillion Data Productivity Cloud with Python, AWS, and modern cloud data warehouses.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Matillion Data Productivity Cloud and Snowflake/Redshift.

- Author custom transformation logic and orchestration jobs using Matillion components, Python scripting, and API integrations.

- Integrate data pipelines natively with AWS cloud services (S3, Lambda, Glue, IAM, SNS/SQS, and Step Functions).

- Develop Python utilities, custom connectors, and automated workflows to extend standard Matillion functionality.

- Optimize pipelines for performance, cost efficiency, and reliability across high-volume datasets.





- Implement CI/CD best practices, version control (Git), automated testing, and governance standards.

Technical Qualifications:

- Core ELT: 3+ years of hands-on experience authoring pipelines in Matillion (Matillion Data Productivity Cloud).

- Scripting & Languages: Advanced proficiency in Python for data processing and custom automation, alongside solid SQL.

- Cloud & Data Warehousing: Solid experience across AWS ecosystem services and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift).

- Engineering Best Practices: Practical knowledge of CI/CD, Git, pipeline scheduling/orchestration (Airflow, Matillion Scheduler), and debugging complex data flows.
